Yes it's huge - I don't think there's a whole document,
there are various bits on wiki.qemu-project.org and various bits
in the docs subdir in the source.

However, I suggest picking something that you understand and following it
and seeing where it leads - e.g. a particular command line option, guest
instruction or monitor command.
