AFAIR [1] SS-20 requires another CPU. Can you try the following options?
-cpu "TI SuperSparc 50"
or
-cpu "TI SuperSparc 60"
or
-cpu "Ross RT620"

(can't remember whether the latter was still supported in 2.6 though)
