If I run an `strace` on the qemu command I can see that it's going into some kind of infinite loop. I've pasted some of the output below, I just don't know what it means.

Hi all,
I'm trying to get OpenFirmware to run on Qemu. I've installed Qemu-kvm from the Ubuntu 12.04 repositories and when I start it with `qemu-system-i386 -bios emuofw.rom -L /usr/share/qemu-kvm` I get a blank screen. I have both the `kvm` and `kvm-intel` drivers loaded and I have virtualization enabled in BIOS. My kernel version is 3.5.0-18-generic. I've never used Qemu before so any help is appreciated.
