Hello,

I eventually got it to boot. I was using the last updated debian  
binaries package from repository but this one seems not to be update.

When compiling qemu-1.3.0-rc0.tar.bz2 from qemu.org (which says 12.9  
to info version though), boot from disk2:d is fine.
I got a disk image from a real machine to boot in no-graphic mode.

Question: does anyone has experience with frame buffer and graphics  
from SS5 emulated? I still got a "no frame buffer" in the boot  
sequence when I remove the option -nographic.
