Yeah, that's what I'd expect :)  Are you now able to boot either OS X 10.2 or 
Darwin now as a result of this thread?

Nope, there's something still amiss for me. I'll try to set up a 10.4 machine 
so I can compile and gdb my own kernel when I get around to it ;).

Awesome. I reckon we're about 95% there, but unfortunately Apple use a customised gdb/gcc so my ability to build/debug a custom kernel for this on a non-Apple platform are pretty much zero - so over to you ;)
