Are you doing block migration by any chance? There were some patches at
some point to fix some issues with migration hanging but I'd need to
dig around to locate them.

And can you provide your setup/command-line so I can attempt to
reproduce it? If there's a regression I'd like to get it fixed for
the upcoming 1.4.2 release (and 1.5 if it's an issue there).
