[Qemu-stable] [ANNOUNCE] QEMU 1.5.3 Stable released

Hi everyone,

I am pleased to announce that the QEMU v1.5.3 stable release is now
available at:

http://wiki.qemu.org/download/qemu-1.5.3.tar.bz2

v1.5.3 is now tagged in the official qemu.git repository,
and the stable-1.5 branch has been updated accordingly:

http://git.qemu.org/?p=qemu.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/stable-1.5

This release contains 60 build/bug fixes, and includes a number of
important fixes for the QMP management interface.

This is the last planned stable release for the 1.5 series, though
additional security releases may be released should the need arise.
However, if you are interested in continuing general maintenance of
the 1.5 stable branch, please send a patch to address@hidden
to add yourself as an entry in MAINTAINERS. If you have any
questions about the process feel free to contact me directly.
