[RP] editor & completion patch

Hi hackers,

I've added the editor patch that was floating around here way back
when. I've also added the completion patch.

Things that don't work at the moment (for me anyway):

* Yanking from the X clipboard

and what I'm thinking of maybe removing:

* /bin/sh completion. I feel uneasy about have a bash X.YZ beta-W
  dependency in the source.

So, make it break guys!
