Details:

rdiff-backup's method for accessing HFS resource forks is apparently
deprecated.  It leads to warnings like the following in /var/log/system.log:

Jun 30 13:22:32 storage kernel[0]: HFS: /rsrc paths are deprecated (Desktop
DF/rsrc)

This was originally mentioned on the rdiff-backup-users mailing list in May:

This patch uses ..namedfork/rsrc instead of just rsrc to access the resource
fork.  Documentation on this seems a little scarce, but I was working off of
the recommendation listed here:

Patch is against current CVS.
