Well, check out /mnt/backups_mp/system/bin.  Does it contain 'csh'?
If not, then for some reason the initial backup just skipped this file
(a more serious problem than the incremental backup failing).  BTW,
what kind of filesystem is /mnt/backup_mp/system?
