Hi,
I've been doing some preliminary research on the browser situation. If
I've got anything wrong don't hesitate to correct me. Please add other
candidates to the list.
These are the text browsers available as rpms
links - text only
lynx - text only
The Graphic Browsers with rpms are too resource intensive
galeon - Gnome
mozilla - resource intensive
netscape-navigator - resource intensive
konqueror - resource intensive - runs in kde
Here are some other linux browsers
konq/e - development code for embedded systems
dillo - gtk+ c code in development has a debian package * promising
viewml - an embedded browser project viewml.com
zen - modular browser that can write to linux framebuffer
Thanks,
Hairy Larry
