[Rule-list] problem with ftp install

Devon,

I am using slinky 0.1.8 on PC 14 a 166 Pentium MMX with 32 meg 
ram and a 540 hd.

When i try to insmod tulip.o i get

insmod: kernel module version mismatch
  tulip.o was compiled for kernel version 2.4.7-10
  while this kernel is version 2.4.9-31RULE.

Also when I run ifconfig I get

ifconfig: ifconfig was not compiled with interface status display 
support.

I get these errors at the first busybox prompt before I run setup.sh.
