[RULE] Ftp install problem

I have a problem to install rhule on my highscreen module note2
It's a laptop 486/66 with 8M ram

I use slinky latest ver., Pcmcia and stage2 disk
3com pcmcia combo Card 3c589d (RJ45 and BNC)

bringing up the network is no problem I think.
It's possible to ping my workstation 

on my workstation running a Mandrake 9.1 distri with proftp 
In my homedir is /RedHat/RPMS/ 
If  I log in with my username and pass from my wife's computer
(win$98 IE6.0) I get access to my homedir. Local from my 
computer too.

If rhule try's it won't work I see the ftp commands like this
ftp://{chris:address@hidden/RedHat/RPMS/name-of-rpm.rpm

but it don't get the packages

the only difference from the ftp command are the { } I don't write 
in the adressbar from the explorer/mozilla

any hints ?

oh ! and it's a nice logo
I think the great jpeg will be the background on my laptop.
If I get it running.
