Summary: ambiguity in resume/profile/experience categories
Original Submission: I am setting up my member profile, and I am in doubt
about what "experience" in the skill set part means. If it means work
experience, then one should be able to select an experience level of "none."
For instance, suppose I am quite familiar with Make because of a several large
personal projects, but I have never used Make in a professional capacity. But
if it means duration of familiarity, then I do not see how it is meaningfully
different from "level". I have a basic knowledge of C: does it matter to
anyone that I acquired and refreshed it over the last 15 years rather than
picked it all up in the last 12 months?
