To allow the mail server to recover the e-mail backlog (due to the last
week-end downtime) asap, the FSF sysadmins decided to turn the HTTP server
down, which includes access to the Mailman administration. It was first
stated at https://savannah.gnu.org/forum/message.php?msg_id=414
Unfortunately we have not ETA yet - it apparently takes more time than
expected.
However, Mailman was designed without HTTP interface in the first place, so
you still can administer your mailing lists using the e-mail interface.
A good starting point to learn is
http://www.list.org/mailman-member/node10.html. There are also hints in the
e-mails Mailman send to the list admins.
