A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Sébastien LECACHEUR <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: GWhere
System name: gwhere
This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
GWhere is another \"Where Is It?\" clone. It is made easily to browse a disk
database. It allows you to manage a catalog of archives on removable media
(disks, zip, CD-ROM, etc...) in order to do quick searches without needing to
put each removable disk in your drive. Each disk, folder and file has a size,
date, category, description, and content parameter and can be completely edited
or deleted. Today GWhere mount/umount, scan, eject CD-ROM (with supermount
support in the next version).
GWhere is still in an unstable and alpha stage, but it\'s usable. It is written
in C with GTK+ for GNU/Linux.
GWhere need the search engine, but I think it will be done for the next version
(it\'s coming soon...).
GWhere exists on http://www.gwhere.org
