Regarding (1), I'm trying to fix it. This is just a test
and should be e-mailed to savannah-hackers only, since the
problem has not been solved yet.

This web-based support framework is seriously broken.
(1) Why do I not get an email confirmation when I post
a request, or when somebody changes it? You cannot
expect people to keep monitoring a web site, especially
when it may take weeks for a response.
(2) Why is a request marked as "closed" without waiting
for confirmation from the persom making the original
request? Specifically, my request 100129 was marked
as closed even though only part of the problem has
solved. This meant I had to make a global search
for all of loic's closed requests to find it again.
I realize you are volunteers, and it is much quicker to
just mark a request as closed when you have responsed.
Sorry, but doing that just doesn't work. You have to
give the requester an opportunity to respond. If there
is no response from the requestor after some time (at
minimum a week) *then* you can mark it closed.
The real problem is you only have the two states
Open and Closed. You need at least one in-between
state "feedback" or "answered" or something like that.
(3) I add a new comment to my bug 100129. The system
failed to change the status back to Open.
