The GNU 3DKit is officially part of the GNU project, the according page can be
found at http://www.fsf.org/software/gnu3dkit/gnu3dkit.html and
http://www.3dkit.org. It is an extension to GNUstep , which provides an
Object-Oriented application development framework and tool set for use on a
wide variety of computer platforms. GNUstep is based on the original OpenStep
specification provided by NeXT, Inc. (now Apple).
The GNU 3DKit provides several frameworks to render 3D graphics. Its main
purpose is to render 3D graphics in real time on commodity PC hardware using an
optimised scene graph architecture.
