A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Yann Dirson <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Host-package builder
System name: hostpkg
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
This project allows to build packages that can be used to reproducibly install
a machine. Machine profiles can inherit other profiles. CVS is used to keep
an history and allow to work on a specific profile in the profiles tree,
possibly impacting ancestor profiles, without breaking anything else in other
profiles that would share those ancestors.
Currently debian packages can be produced, but the architecture is flexible
enough to integrate with any other packaging system.
This work was done by myself when working for Logatique, and is now to be
released under the GPL.
