Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

The instructions on <URL:http://savannah.gnu.org/cvs/?group_id=40>
state that the password for anonymous CVS access is "anoncvs".  This
password does not work.

Fortunately, I was able to guess the correct password ;-).
