        Although Savannah does not yet support lsh for everyone, it should
work for you specifically. If you're able to 

        lsh address@hidden

        then you should be able to 

        export CVS_RSH=lsh
        cvs -d address@hidden:/cvsroot/emacs co emacs

        Could you tell me if it works for you ? If it does not could you
please send the full output of 

        cvs -t -d address@hidden:/cvsroot/emacs co emacs

        so that we can figure out what's wrong ?
