A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Jürgen Vigna <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: KSendFax
System name: ksendfax
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

KSendFax is a program for sending fax-similes. It uses as
backend a fax-packages, such as HylaFax, EFax, mgetty+sendfax, ...
This is a KDE project which means it needs KDE/Qt libraries
to run (it is not neccessary to have a KDE desktop) and also
need a KDE/Qt developement environment to be able to build it
from source. While in his first version (for KDE1) it was a
simple frontend for the backend fax-server, in it\'s actual
implementation it is much more than that. You now can scan new
documents (if you own a scanner), preview the fax before sending
it, have multipage faxes, convert any format to your outgoing
format (if you have the right tools installed) by defining filters,
edit/create text based faxes, with a buildin editor or a external
editor of your choice. It is quite easy to setup (by a setup
wizard). Please head that in order to be able to SEND faxes you
have to install and configure a BACKEND faxserver package!

This project already exists and you may see it for now at
http://ksendfax.sourceforge.net/
