My project will provide a home portal and calendaring system for the Baha\'i 
Faith.   Anyone is welcome to take all or part of the system for their own 
uses, but the focus of this development will be for use by Baha\'is within the 
United States.

It will support the ability to create calendars for various institions within a 
given region or cluster.   Calendars can be displayed that incorporate all 
events within a given distance from one\'s location.

This site will be initially deployed on www.metrodc-bahai.org/  It is hoped 
that other areas of the country will also deploy it.   The calendaring stuff is 
being written from scratch [though I will take bits and pieces from other 
PHP/MySQL calendaring projects).
