This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

Ikeyd  is a simple hotkey daemon for Apples special hotkeys on iBooks and 
Powerbooks. It sets the volume or ejects the cdrom. Even though it sounds like 
the already existing \"hotkeys\" daemon its not like it because ikeyd doesn\'t 
depend on X11, it uses /dev/input/eventX. Therefore it only works on GNU/Linux.
