* Description:

   for complete description, see
      <http://members.bellatlantic.net/~vze2mqqv/wikitexi-req.html>

   The WikiTexi (pronounced \"wee-kee-tek-ee\") idea grew from an idea
   originally put forward on the \"address@hidden" mailing list by
   Norbert Bellow:

      Yeah... please add this to the DotGNU tasks list: \"A system that
      makes it fun to collaboratively create documentation in texinfo
      format\".

   The driving force behind the project is to create a system that will
   allow software developers to collaboratively document their systems.
   WikiTexi will support generation of GNU-standard TexInfo documentation
   using a groupware system whose look and feel resemble wikipedia and
   other collaborative content efforts.

   Currently, WikiTexi is envisioned as using multiple interfaces as a
   facade to a collection of Docbook-oriented XML and XSL engines. Later
   development would allow those engines to \"cluster\", creating the
   opportunity for \"distributed documentation\" and efficient conveyance of
   information.

   (n.b. Although intial testing will be with the Docbook DTD, WikiTexi\'s
   core design will be \"standard-agnostic\" -- any document-oriented DTD for
   which appropriate XSL exists should be maintainable in WikiTexi.)

* Proposal Version (integer): 1.0

* Proposal Version date stamp: 5 Feb 2002

* Proposal Maintainer name: Jonathan Springer

* Proposal Maintainer e-mail: address@hidden

--- END PROPOSAL ---

It does not exist yet but I\'m working on it.
