A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Lee Braiden <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: A More Perfect Union
System name: ampu
This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
This project has the short-term goal of providing a unique and powerful
community discussion and decision making system for free software projects,
much like a cross between usenet and online voting polls. The model used
greatly resembles \"direct democracy\", with some additional features, such as
document management and version control.
The mid-term goal of this project is to provide similar features to
Universities, and other public institutions.
The long-term goal of this project is to eventually become the system of
management and decision making within not only free software projects or public
institutions, but within large corporations and countries themselves. The
eventual goal is to replace governments with direct democracy, or direct
decision making, by the people and for the people.
This project is currently in planning stages, and no source code is yet
available.
