Hi, Could you please submit your project with a more specific goal ? Misc sh scripts is a bit vague, I think :-)
The problem is that I plan to put many very differents scripts. Each script is too small to require an account, but getting any of them in one package, one CVS, interest me. In fact, I currently already package theses scripts to be able to download them easily on internet and install it on computer where I install GNU/Linux.
There are sysV scripts (adsl startup, for example), sound related scripts, administration related scripts. The main relation beetween scripts is that they should help « newbie » users or fastened frequent operations. (as latex -> ps showed in ggv or gv, removing any useless files produced by compilation, or permit to do a /etc/init.d daemons starting with a menu). Some of this operations can be done with GUI but I work and install GNU/Linux mainly on old computer where lauching aterm is really faster than any other gui.
So misc seems to me the best description.Maybe I should seek out an other host for this kind of things that are not properly a software but host 100% free that offer CVS, mailing-list are not so many.
What should I do ?

For mines, surely (mass conversion wav->ogg ogg->wav, automated ftp updating website etc), to get the CVS facilities that you provide(for example), and for the ones of whoever want to publish them with CVS (etc). > CVS is the first step of collaborative work, it should be fine to provide a tar.gz installable as another software with this kind of scripts, scripts that anyone can enhance, since it\'s free software and on CVS. > > So I plan, if you agree, to make a shell scripts ressource website like http://www.freesofware.fsf.org/latexfr (that I run) on savannah. > > Obsviously, all files will be in GPL/FDL. > -- Loic Dachary http://www.dachary.org/ address@hidden 12 bd Magenta http://www.senga.org/ address@hidden 75010 Paris T: 33 1 42 45 07 97 address@hidden GPG Public Key: http://www.dachary.org/loic/gpg.txt
