        It all depends if you want to play with legal matters in order to
save a few CPU cycles or a few bytes on the disk. Is it worth it ? 

        As a side note, please consider supporting php3. The php4 license
has restrictions that forbid forking. Unless people continue to support php3
to protest, Zend is not likely to change the situation any time soon.
