Well, it might be good to change this, especially due to the
sourceforge.net terms change (applying on march 5).

Taking into account that lot of people want to switch from
SF because of the terms change, and that march 5 is not far
away, people won't have the time to convert all the PHP
stuff into regular HTML before this date...

And converting to HTML for big site don't make any sens.
So can the Savannah team do something ?

Mainly because it requires someone to monitor it closely and
nobody volunteered. Also, mirroring a php based web site
imposes that the mirror runs a similar version. At present
the web sites can be mirrored with a minimal configuration,
with only static HTML pages.
