A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Esteban Manchado Velázquez <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: IRENE
System name: irene
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

Description:
IRENE stands for \"Interfaz Ruby para Envío de Notitas Electrónicas\" (\"Ruby
Interface for Sending Small Notes\"), and aims to give a neat interface to SMS
commandline programs (in Spanish, and if there is enough interest, in English
also). It\'s written in Ruby and uses FOX by means of FXRuby as the toolkit. It
will hopefully have a phone book and some other goodies, like auto-completion.

The idea is having an easily upgradable GUI, using plugins instead of
hardcoding parameters and program calls. All these plugins will be available in
a different package.

It does not exist yet but I\'m working on it.

Other Software Required:
- The FOX toolkit, a gorgeous object-oriented GUI toolkit written in C++,
available at http://www.fox-toolkit.org
- The Ruby bindings for FOX, FXRuby, available at http://fxruby.sf.net
