If it demands you a password, it means that the SSH key is
unproperly registered.
See in Account Maintenance.

The key is the file .ssh/identity.pub 

To get a full example of and uploading via, you can take a
look at the filelist Admin page, if you use the filelist for
your project.

 Is it the shared key?
 Is the shared key the 333 bytes thing generated
into identify.pub?
