Hi,

Isnt it possible to make in only one project (with ./configure script..) ?

Support of hurd in binutils package should be made directly in binutils package ?

Andrew M. Miklic <address@hidden> described the package as
follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: GNU HURD/Alpha
System name: hurd-alpha
This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

Description:
The purpose of this project is to provide a working implementation of
the GNU HURD for the Alpha architecture. This includes:

- changes to glibc, gcc, and binutils (mostly done and available in
cvs)
- changes to mig (???)
- changes to the hurd itself (specifically, libthreads)
- changes to gnumach
- changes to oskit

This project already exists under another project name on
savannah.gnu.org/gnumach-alpha, but it only supports gnumach. This
project will allow for the addition of hurd-specific and
toolchain-specific changes as well by adding a common parent
directory.

Other Software Required:
This project requires OSKit (St. Patrick\'s Day release), GNU HURD,
GNU mig, GNUMach, glibc-2.2.6, gcc-3.2, and binutils-1.12.
