A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Matthew Alton <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Remote Asyncronous Device Interface Service Happiness
System name: radish
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
Description:
My project provides a server program which causes a set of asynchronous RS-232
ports physically located on a set of remote terminal servers to appear as
character special devices in the local filesystem. The illusion is complete
and transparent. Also provided is a command-line interface for use in server
program administration. This functionality is useful in allowing legacy
software to communicate with remote devices. The software is currently in BETA
testing.
Other Software Required:
The command-line interface program requires the GNU Readline Library.
