Description:
This project (pb.webMAUI) aims at building a web-based administration tool for 
managing: complex maildomains mail user accounts server based filtering incl. 
\"vacation messages\". 

Currently the tool is focussed on the \\\"Courier\\\" mailsuite (MTA,
IMAP, Maildir) and uses OpenLDAP for authentification and address
storage.
 
It is planned to expand the usage to other MTAs, IMAP Servers (e.g.
sendmail, procmail, Cyris IMAP etc) and storage methods (e.g. MySQL).
 
Features so far (or planned soon) are:
 access control (several adminstration levels)
 mail account administration
 mail domain administration
 server based filtering, \"vacation messages\"
 maildrop administration
 accounting, quota warnings
 
 
 pb.webMAUI is written in PHP4, using the PEAR libs.
Unfortunately, this makes it impossible to run with PHP3.

The project has been registered with SourceForge previously, but considers
