A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
conan dalton <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: XP Estimate Tracker
System name: sandy
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
Description:
My project is a time-tracking tool which allows users compare elapsed time on
tasks with estimations for the same tasks, thus honing their estimation skills.
It is intended to automate some of the work carried out by the role of
\"tracker\" in extreme programming environments.
Here are the basic use-cases:
- The user creates a new \"task\", which is simply a name and an estimate (in
hours, or whatever)
- The user views a list of tasks
- When the user starts some activity, the user selects a task in the task list;
the system records the duration for which each task was selected
- The system provides a report of expended effort on a set of tasks for a
user-specified period, in particular showing comparisons between estimates and
actuals.
The project is written in Java, the above use-cases are complete, but it is not
available anywhere for download as I have not chosen to host it anywhere yet
