Fredrik Öhrström <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: GWEB - good literate programming tool
System name: gweb
Type: 1
Description:
I am developing a literate programming tool inspired by
Donald Knuth\'s CWEB. The tool creates crossreferenced html
pages with code and documentation. To understand literate
programming start here: www.literateprogramming.com
Brief explanation:
Instead of writing programs containing explanation snippets. Write an
explanation containing code snippets. The tool is essentially a
preprocessor.
I needed a new tool because the old tools did not have enough
support for Java or for HTML-rendering of the literate programming text. The
tool itself is written in Java, though not in a literate style (yet).
It already exists and it works, although the code is ugly and
destined for a complete rewrite. I can\'t give you a link,
but send me an email and I will send a copy to you.
Other Software Required:
It is written in Java and can be compiled with gcj.
