A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Ole Tange <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Prior-Art-Database
System name: padb
Type: 2
Description:
After starting ToPAS (aka PoPA) I have received a mail from a guy who wants to
publicize some ideas so that they cannot be patented. What he needs is a
service to have his ideas publicized and time stamped. My suggestion to him was
to create a Savannah project for his ideas, but it seems the ideas are not
finished enough to start a whole project.
I have also had ideas that I would like not to be patented. I have published my
ideas at http://ole.tange.dk/projekter/kontroversielt/patent-ideer.html I also
suffer from the problem of lacking trustworthy timestamping.
So now I got the idea: How about starting a Savannah project where people could
submit their ideas and have them anti-patent protected by using ToPAS?
The project could be categorized as a software documentation project as most of
the ideas will probably be software related.
Other Software Required:
ToPAS
