Amit Rathore <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Lightfoot Networks
System name: lightfoot
Type: non-GNU

Description:
This project is called Lightfoot Networks. The general category of this
project: Distributed Computing.

Its a project that will make it possible to distribute jobs across on to
multiple computers. Its going to be generic enough so that as long as the job
is inherently parallel and it can be broken down, it will be possible to make
the job execute on the multiple participating computers.

The system will be a message oriented system that will use a set of XML schemas
for its communication protocol (the Lightfoot Protocol). The system will use a
logical grid topology.

The system will be built in a way to be scalable onto the internet, however,
the initial implementation will be restricted to within a LAN.

It does not exist yet but I\'m working on it.

Other Software Required:
Java
