Normally, message that are probably spam are tagged

If you use procmail, you just have to set filter like this one

:0:
* ^X-Spam-Status: Yes
$MAILDIR/spam


I'm not sure at all that admin will appreciate to be forced
to use the mailman administrative interface to remove spams.

You probably can get more details here

and get in touch with people that deal with the spam issue.

this is what I asked about!!!
it is not enough for the mail messages to be scanned - 
your mailing list software must redirect suspected mail
to the mailing list admin for approval!!!
is this being done for the @gnu.org mailing lists?
