A package was submitted to savannah.nongnu.org
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Tim Moss <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Challenge JPEG
System name: challengejpg
Type: non-GNU
Description:
There is no code yet. The project will provide a perl routine/module which can
be used in cgi forms to present a random \"challenge/response\" jpeg for use in
preventing mass/automated form submissions. Several sites such as Yahoo and
Paypal have a similar feature on their sign-up pages but there does not appear
to be any plug-in code available for a non-programming webmaster to add
something similar to their own sites. At least, I couldn\'t find any today when
I was searching for something for a friend.
Other Software Required:
Perl, Imagemagick, GD, NetPBM
