Description:
To develop GPL\'d software allowing independent owners of raingauges and 
archived data sets of raingauge records to present their collected data through 
a common web portal; to allow users of these data access in a standardized, 
uniform way; to allow analysts and modellers a means to make their software 
available through the portal (via CORBA) so that they also fit into the uniform 
presentation of information sources.

Currently the project is being run on SourceForge (project dm-rainfall) and the 
source can be had from 
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/dm-rainfall/rdmp-3.0.1.tar.bz2?download

but the functionanlity of the software itself cannot be seen here.
