When I visit the link you posted in your first message I
can't see anything about a cvs bug.  Please post the correct
link.

Also, if I understand, the problem should be that the CVS
pages don't show the correct information for the user that
is logged in?

It shows only a standard command, where the user has to
replace <developername> with his username.

Right?
