Arif Shouqi <address@hidden> described the package as follows:

Other License:
Package: APCO Land Mobile Radio
System name: gnuapco
Type: non-GNU
Description:
TIA/EIA has published a set of standards for public radio ( the APCO 25
Project). These standards define an open systems interface for a land-mobile
radio system. The purpose of this project is threefold (A)to provide a set of
API\'s which will implement the Air Interface deifned in the standards (Layer 2
functionality ) (B) Use free Sotware Defined Radio\'s loke gnuRadio to
implement the physical layer and (C) Write at least one application that uses
the entire stack and works!.
The software will be written in C over GNU/Linux. The first set of API\'s will
be published as a library which others can link into in order to create, send,
recieve and decode messages.
A small portion of the code exists, containing the basic transmitter and
reciever API for one type of message.
Thanks - arif (address@hidden)

1. GNU C libraries / Linux OS / GNU compiler and Linker.
2. Uses a public domain CRC implementation. Please refer
