Description:
It's a library that provide music files and protocols handling.
For example : it will read/write midi files, ports, RTP (Real Time Protocol =>
check IETF)
music XML, modules (.mod, .s3, ...), OSC
(http://cnmat.cnmat.berkeley.edu/OSC/), etc...
It should be used by score editors, sequencers, by real time synth, or anything
else.
It start when we want add midi support to gscore (gscore.org), i done a
prerelease in c, and know want to add all music formats.
It currently just handle midi files.
It should permit conversion between different formats, recording and playing.

It's C++ software and will depends on Common C++ libs for network, xml...
Of course, it is made as portable as possible.
