Description:
ProtoFit is a software package to aid in the scientific problem of optimizing 
surface protonation models to acid-base titration data. The package consists of 
two programs:

ProtoFit: a Fortran program to do the number cunching, and

ProtoFit-GUI: a TCL/TK user interface for control of the program and data 
visualization.

The software package is complete and 99% ready for its first public release. 
The software will appeal to scientists interested in environmental chemistry 
and related fields.

The package runs on Gnu/Linux, MS Windows 95+, and should run on most popular 
Unixes.
