Package: Ocha IDE
System name: ocha
Type: non-GNU

Description:
Location of code: http://www.shaynekasai.com/ocha/download/ocha-1.0.tar.gz

Location of site: http://www.shaynekasai.com/ocha/

Ocha IDE is an editor, which at its current state relies more on key bindings
than buttons and toolbars. The goal of Ocha is to:

- Increase code quality by providing a completely different way of development
- Increase efficiency by removing distractions from the interface and providing
them as key bindings (like vi).

Currently Ocha has the following features:
- syntax highlighting
- save/open etc.

The current interface of Ocha is only the first step to what I envision. In
the future, Ocha's interface will be quite different than conventional editors,
and the way you modify source code will be a different approach than what you
would find in normal IDEs.

Other Software Required:
gtk 2.0
glib 2.0
gtksourceview 1.0
gnome vfs 2.0
libgnomeprintui 2.2

Other Comments:
If you can help me sort out legal issues that would be great, I'm not sure if
MIT is the right license or if it conflicts with the libraries I use. Feel
free to look at the site to see the dependencies:
http://www.shaynekasai.com/ocha/ -- ideally I want a less restrictive license.

Thanks!
