Claudio Cicali <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Littera CMS
System name: littera
Type: non-GNU

Description:
Littera is (yet another) CMS written in PHP ( > 4.1 ). It uses Postgresql or
MySQL as the backend database system. All contents are stored in the database
and pages are created on-the-fly. Littera objectives are to be fair simple to
use and administer and not bloated with modules/plugins or other stuff like
that. Littera tries to be the best choice for little associations which need a
simple but powerful way to publish its documents on their web site. It can load
XML files (written using Littera own DTD) to store a document written offline
in the right place inside the site, with a sigle button to push. It handles
three categories of users: Administrators, Supervisor and Publishers. A
document, written by a Publisher, cannot be seen "online" without being first
approved by a Supervisor (or a Administrator as well). Another feature of
Littera is the ability to handle "Collections". A collection is a a group of
document of the same type that Littera handles as a
"single object" that can be "moved" or published across different pages of the
site. Tipical examples are a collection of URL, or a collection of News.
A first, non working snapshot of Littera could be retrieved at:
http://www.flexer.it/download/littera.tar
Littera also uses some apache "mod_rewrite" rules to nicely encode and hide its
URLs.

Other Software Required:

Other Comments:
Its first implementation will/should be the CMS for
http://www.softwarelibero.it (Web site of the association, affiled with FSFE,
which I'm a member of).
