[Savannah-hackers] CVS problems

Hi,

I have been trying for 5 days now to make a (first) checkout
of gcc sources, according to the instructions on gcc.gnu.org, using the
following command:

cvs -d :ext:address@hidden:/cvsroot/gcc -qz9 checkout -P gcc

And it never worked. Is it something wrong with my method,
or are there perturbations on the server?
