Hi Elfyn,

Thanks for the response!

You are absolutely correct; since I first submitted this application,
I've done some work fixing up the licensing notices. This was work that
had to be done anyway to get mimms into Debian, which I did shortly
after I first submitted the request for project hosting.

The current source of mimms has the following copyright statements:

For my (heavy) modifications:

 */

And for the original code it's derived from -- taken verbatim:

/*
 * Copyright (C) 2000-2001 major mms
<http://www.geocities.com/majormms/>
 *
 * This file is part of libmms

Both of these statements are in every source file. The original upstream
mmsclient source did not have a copyright statement, although it
included the GNU GPL as part of the distribution. To avoid any
uncertainty, I based mimms off the libmms version which was 99%
identical, but did in fact have it's copyright statements in order.

Everything should now be in order, but please let me know if you still
have any concerns or questions. =)

You can obtain a copy of the latest source I've released from
http://www.icecavern.net/~wjl/debian/mimms/0.0.6/ (the .orig.tar.gz) --
(or if you use Debian, you can fetch it directly from main).
