Hello,
The reason for this is that Savannah's certificates are self-signed. You can
install Savannah's CA certificate, which is used to sign all TLS certificates
on Savannah from http://savannah.gnu.org/tls/. That page also contains
fingerprints and all certificates used by the various websites Savannah
provides .
I can assure you that this is not a security problem.
Also, please note that there is no "Linux" operating system. We believe that
the operating system you meant should be referred to as GNU/Linux (or
GNU+Linux). Please see http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/linux-gnu-freedom.html
